In 2019, Red Bull X-Alps, acclaimed as the world's toughest adventure race, challenged global competitors in a demanding 1138 km journey from Salzburg to Monaco. Negotiating by foot and paraglider, athletes conquered up to 100 km daily, tackling alpine obstacles. The race crossed 6 countries, included 13 Turnpoints, and ousted the last-placed athlete every 48 hours. With a dynamic route, rookies and veterans encountered an equal playing field, turning each 2019 edition into a distinctive and rigorous trial of skill, strategy, and endurance.
